B&B - Guesthouse De Zevende Zon:a place of silence with an atmosphere of peace and inspiration.
Our accommodation offers three spacious guest-rooms with capacity to lodge a total of eight people, a breakfast-and-cocooning room, a practical kitchenette and a lush garden with gorgeous vistas on fields and woods. The picturesque and quiet town of Poperinge, nicknamed “Litte Paris” during WW1, is located in the heart of the Westhoek, a paradise for hikers, bikers and tourists, with a rich gastronomic offer. In a region with an long-standing brewery tradition, beer-and-food pairing has been turned into a fine art. The numerous WW1 monuments and memorials, dispersed in the green landscape, still remain silent witnesses of The Great War. B&B De Zevende Zon is close to Dozinghem and Lyssenthoek Cemetery, Talbot House and the death-cells of Poperinge, and all a mere half an hour's drive from Dunkirk. Lodging in our guesthouse you are at walking distance from the St-Sixtus monastery at Westvleteren, with its world-famous trappist. Besides this, other beer-'hotspots' have converted the Westhoek into the Mecca of the Belgian beer world, with breweries like De Struise Brouwers, De Dolle Brouwers, St-Bernardus, and Vandewalle. Ypres and the Belgian coast are within biking range and from here you can bike to Poperinge, Belgium's center of the hops, known as “The Capital of the Good Life” . |

Reviews
- The hosts were excellent they could not have done more, James.
- The owners couldn't do enough for us. Is especially good location for those with bikes and wishing to visit and taste some of the worlds best beers. Whilst at the location another family with young children arrived and the owners were very good with them allowing them to feed there two pet sheep. The local cafe a 15 minute walk serves good food, Peter.
- Fantastic, modern accommodation in a rural setting. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable about the local area. Perfect for a trip touring the battlefields and cemeteries of Ypres, Simon.
- Amazing place to stay in Poperinge. The owners are very lovely people and the breakfast they put for us is amazing. The property is very beautiful and the rooms have a lot of space and are very clean and well decorated. Definitely would come back, Nadine.
- Luk and Ria were excellent hosts. The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable and we easily split the double into two singles. No secure parking for motorcycles but we knew this before booking. Parking was 'off-street'. Very pleasant rural surroundings! An excellent breakfast!
